Theres a feeling i get when i enter that black and white palace of beauty goodies! My senses are awakened by all the different scents the girlies are testing out, searching for there signature scent. Every mirror is taken over by a lovely trying on her makeup. Basking in her peaceful surroundings free of the relentless beauty counter predators hanging over her shoulder. I get all warm and fuzzy inside when i see a new makeup line, a new conquest if you will. Its like a kid in a candy store, but even better because you get to touch everything! I litteraly float down the aisles with my blush brush in hand searching for my next new blush. Then it's off to skincare heaven were i get to pick out samples I can't wait to get home to apply. It doesn't get better than this. This is every girls safe haven, a place for girls only where we can indulge in our makeup obsessions together in peace and calm. It's almost a sisterhood with strangers, you all have something in common, a beauty obsession you don't have to apologize for in our black and white pandora's box of beauty therapy.

What happened to the online Sephora catalog?

I always got my ideas off the Sephora catalog and now they're not there anymore.
Does anyone know another way to get the catalog? (I live in Europe so I can't really ask them to send me one and the Sephora here doesn't have it ) I really want to go through the pages of makeup products online again

Update
I mailed Sephora about the online catalog and got the strangest answer. It's one of those "I haven't read this properly" answers.
I asked about the online catalog and mentioned that the stores in my country don't have a catalog and don't have a website so I still get my product information from the US website and that I really miss it.
Also I mentioned t the end of the e-mail in 1 sentence whether they will ever ship internationally because my country doesn't have a proper Sephora website (it's one page that tells you where to apply for a job).

One of my xmas gifts from my fiance was this great eyeshadow palette from Kat Von D's collection sold at Sephora.
I started playing with it last night and came up with a few looks. I don't have on foundation or eyeliner since I was just trying the eyeshadow. But I did use some of my own products llke lipgloss and mascara.The eyeshadow is smooth and easy to apply, I used my fingers to smooth it out since it's a bit like creme shadow (just a bit). I would say that the colors can be a bit deceiving lol like some shades are actually darker than they look. Let me know what you think or what I should add Happy New Year!!!

I would love to try more and more bare escentuals. I love it so much. I have tried some but would love more. It will work because it already does. It makes your pores smaller, no acne break outs anymore. This is the best stuff ever. I love it so much. My face always looks great. Mineral Veil Rocks!!! I so want the A Bare Affair kit but cant get it anywhere. Bare Escentuals and Sephora need to bring it back out. This kit was great. It had the Gala Blush, Elegance and Champagne Eye Colors and the Soft Focus Double Ended Brush. It was such a much. Please Bring It Back. I love the New Kit Ideas at Sephora. With the Color Matches. I purchased this lipgloss at Sephora last weekend. It's called Brownberry by Laura Mercier and it's looks, smells, and is delicious!!! It's not sticky instead smooth and shiny.

Until recently, I hadn't worn makeup in almost 20 years. I stopped cold turkey in college when my boyfriend told me he thought I looked better without it.

Them was marryin' words.

I was happy to see the end of the dent cosmetics made in my budget, and after that I spent the next two decades makeup-free, except for the occasional coat of lip balm in the winter.

But here I am on the verge of 40, with a houseful of kids and a whole bunch of laugh lines. Not long ago I went looking for a good facial sunblock, regretting the years I ignored that important element of skin care. That search led me to a slew of beauty sites including this one, and before I knew it, I found myself strolling the aisles of Sephora, testing shades of eyeshadow and remembering how much FUN makeup can be. Hubby still says he thinks I'm prettier without it, but I say a little bit of color can't hurt.

My Mother's Day present to me was a selection of lip glosses, a to-die-for Stila Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek Stain, some smoky eyeliner, and a tube of mascara. It's a beginning. I spent my twenties and thirties with babies on my hip and mashed banana on my shoulder, and I have loved every minute of these chaotic, tumultuous, crazy-making years, years when I was too busy to think past the next diaper change. But now the kids are getting bigger, and it's time to polish myself up a little bit. I plan to head into my forties looking fabulous.
