I have worn a lot of different makeup, but in the past year, have discovered my favorite, Bare Escentuals.I absolutely love it. I think it leaves your skin glowing and the it doesn't feel "makeupy" on your face at all.

I have used Bare Escentuals for about 6 months now and started to notice little "holes" on my face in the T-zone. I was told that the brush that I swirled and tapped was basically poking holes in my skin!!! At first I thought it was incredulous but when I asked a dermatologist about it, sure enough - that was what was doing it.
Since I LOVE the look and the concept, I didn't want to stop using the making (plus I had spent quite a bit of money on revamping my "cosmetic wardrobe") so I tried to figure what was the best way to keep on using the minerals but to ditch the brush. Well, I started using a makeup sponge and it glided on beautifully.
Since trying this method, I noticed that Leslie has come out with a night formula and you put it on with a sponge!!! I have tried it and love it also. I also re-used the container after I finished the first one and it makes a great all-in-one travel case.
Since I started using the sponge instead of the brush, my face has pretty much returned to "normal" and I still get that finished natural look I love so much - especially since I live at the beach and I don't worry about makeup melting on me when I go for a walk.

2I have tried different powders and concealers and nothing satisfied me. There is always some kind of flaw that i will find.....Along came bare Escentuals, I was at Sephora shopping for a lipstick, initially, but then i got curious and tried Bare Escentuals. At the first application, a remarkable difference is noticeable. Its like having an instant glow..that WOW factor is there. I purchased it and use it everyday since then. Its all natural and yet when I wear it seems like there is a something different with how I look. It boost my confidence more and would tell people who noticed my different look "its the make-up". Thus, I wouldn't go out without it. Besides making me look fresh without having to retouch every time, I love Bare Escentuals cause it has an added benefit to me since most will say I look young like 20's when in fact I'm 31 already. Who wouldn't want to try this product. Just try, believe that it will do its wonders and you will be just like me loving Bare Escentuals!
I bought this to use for my engagement photos and I've been wearing it ever since. Very light. Lay net - I never noticed thata bout the brush and know I'm going to have to look at my nose to se if I have holes!
3I haven't tried it yet, but think this would be the ticket for my hypo-pigmentation problem. Anybody else with this curse?
4I've been using BE for 8 years and wouldn't use anything else. I have very oily skin and this works great! I too am a makeup junkie and you really can't have too much BE.

6laynet - very interesting. I too have noticed the little "holes" in my t-zone. I just thought it was b/c I had been slacking on washing my face!! Can you tell me more about your sponge method...do you just dip your sponge into the powder?
7I'm obessed ...i love the eye shadows, all the different colors & some are bright others dark but glimmery , i'm tan complicted being that i'm hispanic and truely it's the only foundation i've ever had that blends with my skin perfectly ... i'm always telling ppl how much i love this product! Worth trying 100%

9I have tried just about every makeup there is out there and have never stayed with one too long because I end up breaking out, getting a rash, etc. and have to stop using them.
Once I tried Bare Escentuals I have never gone back to trying anything else! I love the way my face feels and looks - it never looks cakey, never creeps into the lines on my face and doesn't get greasy.
I have gotten so many compliments on the way I look with Bare Escentuals - I have so many of the products and continue to try the new ones that come out. I have direct delivery on my face kit which makes it so easy - I don't ever forget to replenish my supply!
If I said all I have to say about how much I love Bare Escentuals I could go on forever!!
I am not a makeup girl by nature because it is too time-consuming, but I LOVE BE! I'm a little freaked out about the "holes in your skin" thing, but I will just pay close attention! Maybe since I only use it a few times a week, I won't have to worry!
10About the holes in the face - what caused it? The brush? I've never heard such a thing. Glad the sponge worked out for you. Just got my TSV from QVC and boy of boy is it great!
11I would have to agree, I love this make-up. I don't use many other brands anymore, they have me hooked. I am one of those that doesn't like that caked, make-up look, so this has been great for me.
